Katelin Koontz, RMCHI

Hi there!

I’m Katelin, an EMDR therapist, yogi, and plant enthusiast who is passionate about working with survivors of sexual trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, and other trauma and distressing life events, as well as those navigating anxiety and LGBTQIA+ issues.

If you’ve experienced trauma, you may feel as though a part of you has gotten lost along the way—like you’re no longer connected to the person you were before the pain. It’s common for trauma survivors to feel voiceless, unsafe, hyper-vigilant, and deeply isolated. These beliefs often take root in childhood and become the lens through which you view yourself and the world. You may find yourself ruminating on the past, struggling to trust others, feeling alone in your experiences, and carrying the weight of negative beliefs about yourself and the world around you.

Common harmful beliefs caused by trauma:

  • I am unworthy
  • I am defective
  • I am not safe
  • I am not enough
  • I don’t matter

I specialize in helping you heal these beliefs and reconnect with the parts of you that trauma has hidden away.

Katelin’s rates:

  • Intake Session: $165
  • Therapy Session: $135

How I Practice

Through a combination of EMDR and talk therapy, we will work to uncover and heal the emotional wounds that have caused you to feel lost. Together, we will explore the parts of you that trauma has silenced, and help you rebuild a sense of safety, trust, and self-worth.

As we process the pain of your past and release the limiting beliefs that trauma has instilled, you’ll begin to rediscover the strength, resilience, and inner peace that lives within. Trauma disconnects you from your true authentic self, oftentimes leaving you feeling unsafe in your own skin. This is where our work together begins – reconnecting and coming back to the safe place within yourself.

Therapy is a journey and my intention is to guide you through this process of self-discovery and to finding peace within. I seek to meet individuals where they are on their path and help them reach their desired destination by utilizing an integrative mind-body approach to treat the whole person.

Our sessions are a collaborative space where we work together to develop skills and strategies to build your mental toolbox. As we collaborate, I will always encourage and challenge you in new ways to grow and transform. I strive to create a safe space where you can rest, grow, heal and develop a deeper understanding of self on your journey to wholeness.

Healing isn’t just about surviving the past—it’s about rediscovering who you are and reclaiming your voice. It’s about reuniting with the authentic, vibrant parts of you that got lost in the chaos. You don’t have to do this alone—let’s work together to restore the connection with your true self and create a life rooted in safety, empowerment, and self-love.

We Are Very Good.
